Can I register a company in Bulgaria without travelling there?
Yes. Registration can be done remotely under a notarised power of attorney, which is signed abroad and, where required, legalised or apostilled.
What does registration cost with you?
My fee is €150 for a single-member company (EOOD) and €170 for a company with several partners (OOD), plus the state fee. Remote registration is 10% cheaper. See the prices page.
I register companies in Bulgaria for Bulgarian and foreign clients, in person or remotely. I prepare the documents, deal with the notary and the Commercial Register, and follow the file until the company is entered.
Types of company
- EOOD — a limited liability company with a single owner. The usual choice for one founder.
- OOD — a limited liability company with two or more partners.
- AD — a joint-stock company, for larger projects and investors.
- Sole trader (ET) — a natural person registered as a trader, who is personally liable.
The steps
We agree the form of the company, its name, its registered office and its business activities.
I prepare the articles of association or the founding decision, the specimen signature of the manager and the declarations required by law.
The documents are signed before a notary in Bulgaria, or abroad under a notarised power of attorney.
I file the application electronically with the Commercial Register at the Registry Agency and pay the state fee.
After entry the company receives its identification number. I can then help with bank account opening, tax registration and accounting contacts.
Fees
My fee is €150 for an EOOD and €170 for an OOD, plus the state fee for the entry. If the registration is done remotely, my fee is 10% lower. Non-EU citizens who do not want to open a bank account first can use the guaranteed registration at €500. All prices are on the prices page.
Foreigners and remote registration
You do not need to come to Plovdiv. A notarised power of attorney lets me sign and file on your behalf. Step-by-step details, including the notary and the apostille, are in the articles below.
After registration
I also handle later changes: transfer of shares, change of manager, registered office or business activity, increase or reduction of capital, and conversion of capital from leva to euro.
